UC Santa Barbara proudly hosts the 7th annual UC Santa Barbara Bioengineering Industry Showcase on November 21, 2025 in Henley Hall. The show showcase is sponsored by the NRT on Data Driven Biology and T32 Quantitative Mechanobiology Training Program housed in the Department of Bioengineering in the College of Engineering.
Goals
- To increase awareness among students and researchers on campus about emerging and established needs in the bioengineering community
- To expose students to career options and how best to position themselves for careers in industry
- To strengthen relationships among California and global bioengineering industries and UCSB affiliates.
The Bioengineering Industry Showcase will feature opportunities for industry to engage with the UCSB bioengineering and biotechnology community, including graduate and undergraduate students, faculty and researchers from across the life sciences, physical sciences, and engineering to discuss career and research opportunities and to highlight innovation in the field.
By bringing together professionals from multiple bioengineering and biotechnology companies to engage with the community at UC Santa Barbara, we hope to help grow and strengthen the community’s bioengineering networks and to continue to foster talent and innovation in biotechnology.
